RockBand Lessons

Always dreamed about Rockin' out on stage? We've got a Lesson program for you!

Duncan Music has an experienced staff of musicians including 'Ray Harvey' from the 80's band KickAxe. RockBandLessons are designed to introduce the fundamentals of playing in a band and an introduction to all types of music. During rehearsals, you will have the opportunity to put your new knowledge to immediate use working as a band with students of similar ages, abilities and musical interests. After a few months of solid instruction you’ll have an opportunity to play on stage, in front of a live audience! The most EXCITING music lessons you’ll EVER take!

RockBand Lessons Go Beyond

RockBand Lessons take the students to a new level, and go beyond simply studying your instrument. Lessons are designed to teach band members about practicing with others, managing time, developing self esteem and self respect while working within a team. For many of them, this is a way to overcome their fears and insecurities. The turnaround we see in so many students is remarkable and it crosses over into every aspect of their lives. Students show a greater determination, discipline and a positive work ethic after having participated in this team building program.

Music and educational opportunities enrich communities and the lives of those who take part in them.

Program Outline

Individuals are grouped together in as similar age groups and experience. Each band will have a 1 hour rehearsal session once a week. They will have songs to learn and work to be done at home each week before the next rehearsal.

Towards the end of each term Duncan Music will host a Rock Show. Each band has the opportunity to play a few select pieces, and open up for a local band!
